Located within the borders of Şahinli Village, Lapseki District, Çanakkale Province, the mine leads economic and social development in the region and our country within a limited area, protecting environmental values and with a transparent management approach.

In our site, gold and silver ore are found in rocks in sizes not visible to the naked eye and scattered.

The Lapseki Operation started its activities at the end of 2017 using the "tank leaching" method. In the facility, high-grade ore produced from underground and open-pit mines is enriched with a 96% efficiency rate in a facility with an annual capacity of 1.2 million tons, obtaining gold and silver metal.

Millisecond delayed blasting is performed in open pits and underground operations to loosen the rocks. This minimizes noise, vibration, and dust formation.

Ore extracted from open pits and underground mines is separated into different grade groups and transported from the stockpile area to the plant with heavy machinery, while rocks without ore are transported to the waste dump area.

After crushing and grinding processes, the ore is enriched using the tank leaching method, and a dore containing gold and silver is obtained through electrolysis and smelting. The process waste generated during this procedure is stored in an impermeable solid waste area after chemical treatment and heavy metal stabilization. The Lapseki gold mine, with its chemical treatment, dewatering, solid waste storage area, and technology, has the highest environmental standards in the world.

Simultaneously with the completion of work in each area of the mine, greening and rehabilitation activities are initiated to restore the natural habitat.
