The Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015) is a tool for defining environmental objectives and targets, establishing policies and procedures to meet the requirements of the environmental management system, continuously evaluating environmental performance, and ensuring continuous improvement.

Environmental Management System

TÜMAD Mining applies the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System in all areas where it operates and monitors its sustainability. Certification processes have been completed at the Headquarters and operations, and the requirements of the Environmental Management System are fully and completely implemented in all processes.

To meet the requirements of the Environmental Management System, procedures have been established for Environmental Objectives and Targets, Determining Environmental Aspects, Internal Environmental Audits, and Monitoring and Measuring Environmental Activities, ensuring that all components are monitored in accordance with the system's requirements.

In the Environmental Management System, in addition to assessing the aspects and impacts of activities, the aim is to identify risks and opportunities, record positive environmental impacts, apply life cycle analysis, and conduct root cause analysis and action determination effectively. Continuous internal audits of both operations and documentation are conducted to ensure the timeliness and effective use of the established plans, procedures, instructions, and forms, and all processes are transparently communicated to TÜMAD employees.
